Republican candidate Brian Dubie’s camp said the attendance of union-paid troopers at the September 22 announcement of the union’s endorsement of Shumlin, should have been included on Shumlin’s campaign finance report, as an in-kind contribution.
Attorney General William Sorrell, who’s seeking re-election as a Democrat, said yesterday that after investigating the complaint, his office found there was no violation of law.
