(Host) Governor Howard Dean has appointed a new member to state Education Board.
Bonnie Johnson-Aten of Montpelier will fill the vacant seat on the board, effective immediately.
Johnson-Aten is the diversity/equity coordinator for the Burlington School District and has advised Governor Howard Dean on education policy issues in the past.
