The Vermont Supreme Court building in Montpelier is more than a home to the state’s highest halls of justice.
The lobby at 109 State Street also serves as an art gallery, which in the last 14 years has featured more than 60 painters and photographers, most from Vermont.
"Art In the Supreme Court" is curated by Associate Justice Marilyn Skoglund, who started the program shortly after her appointment in 1997.
VPR’s Neal Charnoff sat down with Justice Skoglund in her office to talk about the program, and her interest in the arts.
