(Host) 350 Vermont artists have an opportunity to show their work this weekend in an unusual set of exhibits in Burlington.

The event now in its 14th year is the “South End Art Hop”. It’s a collection of 90 different locations, including galleries, studios and some traditional businesses that have installed special exhibits for the event.

Bruce Seifer is assistant director for economic development in Burlington.

(Seifer) “What’s new and exciting this year we’re going to have a photo exhibit of representing 75 years of Freeman French Freeman’s architecture , and one of the photographers is someone who photographed work from I.M. Pei and Frank Lloyd Wright. There’s also artists coming down from Montreal, and it’s the first time we’ve had a series of artists from Montreal showing their work.”

(Host) The Art Hop kicks off tonight in the South End district of Burlington and runs through Saturday.
