Analysis: Senate Democrats Keep Campbell

This week the Democratic Caucus in the Vermont Senate held an election to determine who will lead the chamber in 2013. Because there are 23 Democrats in the 30-member Senate, this election virtually ensures the winner of being elected president pro tem in January, and post will likely go to the current pro tem, John Campbell.

VPR’s John Dillon explains why there was some dissatisfaction with Campbell’s leadership, and how he won the caucus’ support.
