If recent history is any indication of how this year’s gubernatorial election will turn out, Governor Peter Shumlin, the incumbent democrat, will do what other incumbent governors have done: beat the challenger.

But some key Republicans think Shumlin doesn’t necessarily have this election locked up. VPR’s Peter Biello speaks with veteran journalist Hamilton Davis about the issues surrounding the gubernatorial campaign.
