Another low-cost airline is going to start flying out of Burlington International Airport.

AirTran will become the latest airline to operate at Vermont’s largest airport.

Officials have been trying to attract another airline to Burlington since Independence Air went out of business.

Details of what routes AirTran will fly and what its fares will be haven’t been released.

A news conference is planned early this afternoon at the airport. The airline is expected to be on hand, along with city, state and federal officials.
