Police say an alert worker at Stratton Mountain Sports Center saved a 6-year-old from drowning.

Alexandra Robinson was working the front desk Friday when she was summoned to a pool where a girl had been underwater and was turning blue.

Robinson, a personal trainer, applied CPR to the child, who came to before being taken to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. The girl, whose identity wasn’t released, is expected to be fine.

Winhall Police Chief Jeffery Whitesell said Monday there’s no question Robinson saved the girl’s life.
