VPR is celebrating the 200th birthday of Frederic
Chopin with a healthy dose of the master’s music. Peter Fox Smith kicked off the festivities with
a special in-studio performance by pianist Marjan Kiepura during Interlude on
February 27.
On Monday, March 1st the celebration
continues with a day of Chopin from classical hosts Cheryl Willoughby, Walter
Parker and Joe Goetz. And the music
continues all week on Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin at 7 with a five-part biography of Chopin.
