The Vermont State Housing Authority is going to stop adding names to its waiting list for Section 8 housing, a federally funded program for low-income housing assistance. Director Richard Williams says the waiting list for vouchers will reach 4,000 applicants by the end of this month, which means a wait time of about four years.
