Imagine standing on a stage, the spotlight is on you and the audience
has high expectations that you’ll make them laugh: stand-up comedy is
not for the faint of heart.  On the next Vermont Edition, we talk with
stand-up comics Martha Tormey and Kathleen Kanz about Vermont’s growing
stand-up comedy scene, and how comedians develop their acts for a live
audience. This weekend nine comics will be performing at the Green
Mountain Comedy Festival in Burlington.

Also, the benefits of cultivating an edible landscape. Charlie Nardozzi
of the National Gardening Association joins us with advice on how to get
started with herbs, berries and edible flowers. (Listen)
