When the circus came to a rural Vermont
town, it was a major event: What young
person hasn’t wandered out of the big top after and show and dreamed of running
away with the circus? We’ll talk with
Circus Smirkus founder Rob Mermin about Vermont’s
own circus history and the colorful characters and acts that captured the
imaginations of past circus-goers. (Listen)

Plus Dr. Kristine Karlson, a family medicine and sports
medicine physician at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center talks about her
experiences as both a past Olympic athlete and physician at this year’s games
in Beijing. (Listen)

We’ll also take a ride on the Lake Champlain
bike ferry. (Listen)
