When he retires later this year, Colonel James
Baker will have been head of the Vermont State Police for only 2 ½ years, but it’s been an eventful time. Baker helped
guide the investigation into the death of Brooke Bennett. State Police came
under scrutiny and were cleared in the use of deadly force against a man in Corinth. 
And there have been increasing demands placed on state police services. (Listen)

Also, we’ll
hear about a computer program that’s being developed to help astronauts deal
with stress, conflict and depression. (Listen)
