For the past 29 years, Armando Vilaseca has been a teacher,
a principal, and a superintendent in Vermont
schools.  Next month, he will take on his
highest profile role to date, as Vermont’s
Education Commissioner.  We talk with
Vilaseca about his priorities for the department, how he plans to deal with
stagnating test scores, and we also learn about his family’s ties to Cuba. (Listen)
