"Stress test" results for the nation’s biggest banks showed
they’re in better shape than many thought…but how are banks closer to home
faring?  We run our own "stress test" of
sorts on area banks, and check in on how business is going.  Our guests include Vermont’s
Deputy Commissioner of Banking, Tom Candon, as well as Merchants Bank President
and CEO Mike Tuttle,
and Rutland’s Heritage Family Credit Union Executive Vice President Matt
Levandowski. (Listen)

Also, two years ago on VPR we talked with Erica Bove Mahany about her experience recovering from an eating disorder.  This week she’s graduating from UVM’s Medical school, and we talk with her about how she helped change the way students are taught about diagnosing and treating eating disorders.(Listen)

And, we continue our series of audio town postcards with a
stop in the southern Vermont town
of Wardsboro. (Listen)
