T.J. Donovan is challenging the incumbent Attorney General Bill Sorrell in the Democratic primary. Donovan was elected Chittenden County state’s attorney in 2006, and now says the attorney general’s office needs new blood. We discuss Donovan’s stance on the Vermont Yankee lawsuit, his opinions on appropriate sentences for non-violent offenders, and other issues that cross the AG’s desk.

Also in the program, how hot is hot? Meteorologist Jay Shafer from Lyndon State College puts this week’s heat in perspective. And Tracy Dolan of the Health Department cautions us about how to cope with the heat till the high temps pass.
