The state says it has added clarity to proposed Act 250 rule changes that would govern how developers deal with archeological sites.  But archeologists are still concerned that the rules won’t do enough to protect existing sites or those yet to be discovered.

We’ll talk with Vermont State Archeologist Giovanna Peebles,  Tayt Brooks, deputy commissioner of the
Department of Economic, Housing and Community Development and John
Crock, the director of the consulting archeology program at the University of Vermont. (Listen)

We’ll also check in with Tom Evslin, who heads the Office of Economic Stimulus and Recovery, for an update on the impact of federal economic stimulus money coming into Vermont. (Listen)

And we’ll drop in on a weekly Russian language class in Chester taught by journalist Nicholas Daniloff. (Listen)
