Congressman
Peter Welch was one of the members of the House to grill the President
of BP at Thursday’s special hearing. Welch
suggested that the BP chief might consider resigning, after
mishandling the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Congressman Peter Welch’s demand that BP suspend dividend payments until
it has
paid to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf has gained momentum, and could become one of President Obama’s
strategies for dealing with the spill.
