Arlington ready to buy land along Batten Kill

The town of Arlington is finishing a deal to buy 12 acres of land along the Batten Kill, a portion of which would be used as a fishing access to the world famous trout stream. Last year The Vermont Land Trust reached an agreement to buy the land and a historic barn. The Land Trust will help the town with the purchase and hold a conservation easement on the property.VPR News
