One well-known Vermont author is getting into the act, examining Lincoln’s life in a very unusual way. Harry Mazer lives in Montpelier and is an award-winning author of numerous books for young readers.

Volunteers plan celebration of Lincoln

Vermont volunteers are gearing up to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth next year. Organizers say it is "all together fitting and proper" that the celebration will take place without a penny of public funding.
