This past June 21,2012 music composer and song lyricist Richard Adler passed away at age 90 at his Long Island, New York home.
Back in the mid-1950’s Richard Adler co-wrote the music for two of Broadway’s all-time most successful musicals: The Pajama Game and Damn Yankees.
Plus, during a songwriting career that extended more than sixty years, Richard Adler’s songs written for the pop music market have sold many millions of copies and have propelled the composer into The Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
