VPR Classical Host Walter Parker talks with pianist Vanessa
Perez and Conductor Anthony Princiotti before the VSO Masterworks Concert on
December 1st, 2007.

Perez, who grew up in Venezuela,
began her studies at age seven. She has
appeared in solo recitals and with orchestras in concert halls around the
world. She talked about her musical
education in Venezuela,
London, Italy
and America.

Her concert with the VSO was her first public performance of Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3.
