Marlboro Month: Bach

MP3

Something funny happened at the beginning of the Bach performance at the
1999 Marlboro Music Festival. We’re not sure exactly what it was, but
the results are pretty funny in themselves: while the instruments are
tuning up you can hear the audience AND performers all break out into
jeers and laughter. It’s just one of those special moments at the
Festival you’ll be able to hear in this morning’s live performance of
Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #3.
